Scottish champions Celtic look to maintain pace in the title race as they travel to bottom-placed Livingston on Sunday afternoon.

Kick-off is set for 12pm UK time at Almondvale Stadium.

Recent Form

Livingston

Livingston have struggled all season with only 17 points collected so far (W3 D8 L18). The run of form has left them bottom in the Scottish Premier League with just one win in their last 22 league matches.

Their home form has been slightly better than their away with eleven of their 17 points picked up on home turf. They've still averaged an abysmal 0.79 points per game at home though, with an average of 0.64 goals scored across their 14 matches. This is worse than an already worrying expected goal (xG) tally of 0.94.

They've also conceded 1.43 goals per home match so far, all while failing to score in 50% of games on home turf.

Celtic

The away side come into the game having won four of their last five matches, the only blemish being a 2-0 away defeat to Hearts at the start of this month. Despite a drop in standards from last season, Celtic still find themselves leading the Scottish Premiership by a point after 30 matches. Second-placed Rangers do have a game in hand on them, though.

Celtic boast an impressive xG tally of 2.26 away from home which has in turn led to an average of 2.13 goals per game so far. They've also excelled defensively, conceding 0.73 goals in away fixtures despite their xGA sitting at 1.08.

They've scored 32 goals away from Parkhead this term, giving them the division's best scoring record on the road so far. They have also only failed to score in four games this season, two of which occurred on the road.

Their eleven goals conceding in away fixtures is also the division's best.

Prediction

Celtic are predictably strong favourites but, such is the disparity between the two sides, there's no point in backing an away victory on the moneyline. Livingston's defensive record is concering to say the least though, with them having shipped at least two goals in 50% of home fixtures so far. Coupled with Celtic's tally of scoring three or more in 57% of matches on the road, OddsNow anticipate plenty of goalscoring action in this one.

OddsNow's Pick: Over 3.5+ goals scored (5/4 @ StarSports)
