Champions-elect Inter Milan look to move one step closer to the Serie A title as they take on last season's winners Napoli on Sunday.

Inter Milan will be looking to right the wrongs from their last 16 Champions League penalty defeat to Atletico Madrid at the San Siro, on Sunday at 7:45pm. Napoli will also be looking to bounce back from Champions League heartache, having been beaten by Barcelona in the last 16.

Kick-off is set for 7:45pm UK time on Sunday.

Recent Form

Inter Milan

Inter have been great at home of late having won their last five matches at the San Siro, with the latest being a 2-1 win against Genoa in early March. They have also won their last nine games in the league, with the latest being a 1-0 away win at Champions League-chasing Bologna.

Inter’s home form has been the cornerstone for their title push with them collecting 37 of their 75 points at home (W12 D1 L1), equating to an average of 2.64 points per match at the San Siro this season.

They have scored 36 goals at home so far at an average of 1.78, slightly below their expected goal (xG) tally of 1.99. Simone Inzaghi’s side have also been imperious defensively, only conceding seven goals at home this season.

Napoli

The current champions have had a poor season following the heights of last year, but are unbeaten in Serie A during new manager Francesco Calzone's four games in charge (W2 D2). They also boast the fourth best record away from home in the league, collecting 22 points on the road (W6 D4 L4).

They also have the highest overall xG of any side in Serie A this season at 1.88, just ahead of their hosts Inter. Their xG away from home is much lower, standing at 1.55. Napoli will however be buoyed having stuck six past Sassuolo on the 28th February.

They will be hoping for forward Victor Osimhen to find form, with the Nigerian hitting 11 goals at a 10.38 xG.

Prediction

Inter rightly enter as favourites, but there is little value on offer on the moneyline where they currently sit at 8/13. Napoli's resurgence in form since Calzone's appointment should present a test of Inter's metal even though their Serie A title is all but confirmed.
