Can Stanimira Petrova finally medal at an Olympic Games in Paris this summer?

Stanimira Petrova (21/10)

Bulgaria's Stanimira Petrova is hoping to secure an Olympic medal at the third time of asking this summer. 

The 33-year-old is a former world champion, two-time European champion and two-time European Games gold medalist but has been unable to secure a spot on an Olympic podium. 

This comes despite her competing at both the 2016 and 2020 Games, where she was eliminated at the round-of-sixteen stage on both occasions. 

Nevertheless, Petrova heads to Paris 2024 a firm favourite to secure gold this time around, coming in at a best price of 21/10 with BoyleSports.

Chol-mi Pang (10/3)

North Korea's Chol-mi Pang secured a spot in Paris via the 2023 Asian Games, where she eventually picked up a gold medal.

The 29-year-old also secured gold at the 2018 World Championships before coming out on top at the Asian Games in the following year. 

She is one of two boxers representing the country at Paris 2024 and is a close second favourite at 54kg, coming in at 10/3 with Betfair.

Hsiao-Wen Huang (8/1)

Taiwan's Hsiao-Wen Huang heads to the French capital looking to build on the bronze medal she won in Tokyo three years ago. 

Huang is also a reigning two-time world champion, having won gold at the World Championships in both 2019 and 2023. 

She qualified for the Paris Games via the Second Qualification Tournament in Bangkok, Thailand back in May.

The 26-year-old is a firm outsider to win gold in Paris, coming in at 8/1 with Star Sports, but her amateur success leaves her with a strong chance at medalling once again.
