Sunderland host relegation-threatened QPR at the Stadium of Light in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
The home side will be hoping to regain some form after a turbulent few weeks and face a challenging prospect in QPR, who have enjoyed positive results in recent weeks. Kick-off is set for 3pm UK time.
The hosts have a 56% win rate at the Stadium of Light and have scored in 72% of home matches so far in the Championship. They have however endured six consecutive league defeats, scoring in three.
Sunderland have averaged 1.67 points per home game so far (W10, D0, L8), scoring 29 whilst conceding 22 on home soil. QPR meanwhile have averaged only 1.17 points per match on the road, meaning Sunderland's home form is 43% better than the away form of the visitors.
Goals scored per match is also in the home side’s advantage, with Sunderland averaging 1.61 home goals compared to QPR’s 0.83 away goals.
Marti Cifuentes' side come into the game in good form, picking up ten points from their last five which include three wins and a draw. The only blemish was a 2-0 home loss to Middlesbrough last week.
The Hoops are currently unbeaten in their last two away fixtures, including a 2-1 victory against Championship leaders Leicester City. QPR have also scored in 56% of away games this season while Sunderland have kept clean sheets in only 22% of their home games.
QPR have also bagged seven goals in their last five matches.
