Back Adam Drury's 17/1 EFL Friday accumulator

Written by: Adam Drury

The EFL is ready for a crucial Easter weekend double-header with a full round of games across all three leagues on Friday and Monday.

Our tipster Adam Drury (@Adam_Drury1) picks out his best bets from the Good Friday matches and compiles a 17/1 four-fold with bet365.

Football betting tips for Friday, April 18

Selection #1 - BTTS & over 2.5 goals in Rotherham v Mansfield – 6/5

Rotherham are enjoying their end to the season, with no permanent manager and nothing to play for.

That context has seen them loosen up in recent weeks, beating Northampton 2-0 and Blackpool 2-1 before a win at Bolton and 3-1 defeat to Stockport last week.

They host Mansfield, for whom this bet has won in five straight matches.

Nigel Clough’s side sit fourth for BTTS ratio and fifth for over 2.5 goals ratio in the whole division.

Selection #2 - Charlton to beat Northampton – 3/5

This is a short price, but we’re accompanying it with three odds-against shots so we don’t mind having it in an acca.

Charlton had won eight straight home matches prior to a 2-2 draw with Lincoln last time out, including a 4-0 victory over Huddersfield, while they have won eight of their last 11 overall.

Nathan Jones’ side still have a shot at automatic promotion if they can keep winning and should fancy their chances against Northampton.

The Cobblers lost 5-0 in the reverse fixture in December, while their hosts have beaten three of the four bottom-six teams they have faced at home.

Selection #3 - Barrow draw no bet v Fleetwood – 5/4

Barrow may have nothing to play for but their performances have been good for weeks, and they look a big price to keep that up at Fleetwood.

Andy Whing’s side have only lost one of their last nine matches, winning five, including victory over promotion-chasing Walsall, Port Vale and Notts County on that run.

Fleetwood are in less good shape, winning just two of their last seven matches, the last two of which have finished in 4-0 and 3-0 defeats.

With the insurance of money back with a draw, we definitely want to be with the visitors.

Selection #4 - BTTS & over 2.5 goals in Grimsby v Swindon – 5/4

This bet has landed in three of Grimsby’s last four games, including a 2-2 draw at Harrogate last week.

Their reverse fixture at Swindon in December finished 3-1 – and their visitors have come a long way since then.

This bet is really all about Swindon, who have scored nine goals in their last two games.

Ian Holloway’s side beat Bradford 5-4 last week in one of the maddest games of the entire EFL season. They won 4-0 at Fleetwood the week before and have seen this bet win in five of their last eight overall.
