Chelsea look to conclude their strong finish to the season when they host Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.

The Blues remarkably find themselves in sixth and could leapfrog fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur depending on results elsewhere. Kick-off is set for 4pm UK time at Stamford Bridge.

Recent Form

Chelsea

The hosts have finally found their stride under Mauricio Pochettino. Chelsea recorded a fourth consecutive league win when they secured a 2-1 victory at Brighton on Wednesday, and are now unbeaten in their last five.

Their superior goal difference over Tottenham means a win could see the Blues secure Europa League football if Spurs suffer a shock defeat at Sheffield United on the same day.

Pochettino's men haven't tasted defeat at home since a 4-2 loss to Wolves in February, and have put together four consecutive victories at Stamford Bridge in recent weeks. Chelsea have also netted a remarkable 17 goals during that period while conceding just three.

Six of their eight clean sheets have also come on home turf, where they've now netted three or more goals in seven matches this term.

Bournemouth

The Cherries have enjoyed a solid season under manager Andoni Iraola, who has steered Bournemouth to a mid-table finish despite many tipping them for the drop in August. A top half finish isn't entirely out of reach, but Bournemouth would need to better Brighton's result if they are to secure a place in the top ten.

Only eight sides have bettered their return in away fixtures this term, though Iraola's men have suffered consecutive defeats on the road to Arsenal and Brentford in their last two.

Conceding goals has been a problem; averaging 2.06 shipped in away matches, they face a Chelsea side who have been scoring at will in recent weeks. Bournemouth have also conceded two or more goals in 12 matches on their travels so far.

Prediction

The home side are on a roll right now and have been scoring in abundance in front of their home fans. OddsNow expect this trend to continue on the final day as they prepare to welcome a Bournemouth side who have little to play for in West London.
