Xabi Alonso's men also boast a remarkable record of 24 away matches without defeat in the league, and no side have conceded fewer on the road than Leverkusen's eight this term.

Add in their 100% scoring record on their travels, the timing could be right for Leverkusen to pickup their first win in Dortmund since February 2022.

Expect a goal-fest

Getting the side with the best home record in the league to win at 9/5 would normally look a no-brainer, but Dortmund's recent form on home soil should breed caution.

It's hard to back Sahin's crop given their lack of consistency, though they remain capable of beating anyone on their day.

Staying away from the winner's line is probably sensible for this one then, and so I'm instead going to turn my attention to the goals market.

These sides have only mustered five clean sheets between them so far in the Bundesliga, suggesting this one could be an entertaining watch for the neutral.

Dortmund's home fixtures have also averaged a mighty 3.5 goals in total, while Leverkusen's games on the road have also seen an average of 3.29.

Ultimately, it's difficult to see there not being more goalscoring action here, and so getting over 3.5 scored at an odds-against 6/4 looks fair.
