Barcelona look to return to winning ways when they host Real Sociedad on Monday evening.
The hosts suffered a damaging 4-2 loss in Girona last week which saw them surrender second position in La Liga. Kick-off is set for 8pm UK time at Camp Nou.
Xavi's side have endured a disappointing campaign on both the domestic and European front. A failed La Liga title defence has seen them surrender the Spanish crown to bitter rivals Real Madrid, and Barcelona are now on course to finish third following their loss last weekend.
They have been much better on home turf though, boasting the fourth-best record at home in La Liga. Not only have Barca won their last four home outings, but they are also unbeaten at the Camp Nou since a 5-3 loss to Villarreal in January.
Barca have scored in every home outing so far, averaging 2.24 goals scored in the process, and have scored two or more goals in ten home fixtures so far. Their most recent match in front of home fans saw them record a 4-2 win over Valencia.
Inconsistency has been rife as of late, with three wins and two losses coming in Barca's last five in La Liga.
Imanol Alguacil's side are in a strong position to play European football next season, currently sitting sixth in La Liga with four matches remaining. Sociedad only have one win in their last four though, and a loss here could see Real Betis overtake them to occupy the Europa Conference League qualification place.
Alguacil's men have identical records in both home and away matches, averaging 1.59 points across both so far. They have fared better on the road in recent weeks though, going unbeaten in their last three, landing two wins in the process.
Sociedad have been solid at the back, conceding only 35 goals in total, which is the third-lowest in the top six. They've also managed seven clean sheets on the road so far.
Barca have been in superb scoring form at home this season, and have scored eight goals in their last three league matches home and away. OddsNow expect them to continue this impressive run on home turf come Monday evening.
