Back this 4/1 Manchester Derby single on Sunday

Attention turns to Manchester City's Etihad Stadium when the reigning Premier League champions host rivals Manchester United on Sunday afternoon. 

Odds Now's Brad Walker has taken a closer look at the match-up to pick out the best value from a punting perspective. 

In what is possibly the toughest Manchester Derby to call in years, neither of these two sides have been impressive of late.  

Much of the attention has centred on the collapse of hosts Manchester City, who incredibly come into this game with just a single win in their last 10 outings in all competitions.

Their chances of a record fifth consecutive Premier League title are looking bleak given they already trail leaders Liverpool, who also have a game in-hand, by eight points. 

That gap could be extended to 11 by the time kick-off comes around on Sunday.

And so another slip-up could prove fatal for Pep Guardiola's men this weekend, though their city rivals have hardly been the most convincing themselves. 

New manager Ruben Amorim has only been in charge for six matches but is already realising the magnitude of the task facing him at Old Trafford. 

United head to East Manchester on the back of consecutive Premier League losses - the latest coming at the hands of a high-flying Nottingham Forest side on their own patch. 

Nevertheless, a victory this weekend would see the 20-time champions move within five points of Guardiola and co in the top four.

Odds Now's best bets for Manchester City vs Manchester United 

The home side may not be enjoying their finest moment but will still take confidence from their recent record against their arch rivals. 

United have lost five of their last six meetings with City - a run which includes three consecutive defeats at the Etihad Stadium. 

Still, this is not the City we've been accustomed to watching over the years, and it's not just because of Rodri's well-documented injury. 

The champions look as though they're playing with sandbags tied to their ankles, with several of the squad's high-profile players seemingly dropping off a cliff simultaneously. 

A 2-0 defeat to a pretty mediocre Juventus side on Wednesday was the latest sign that this current City crop are coming to the end of a cycle, and so getting any side at odds as wide as over 4/1 against them looks an absolute steal right now. 

United will also be boosted by their 2-1 victory against their neighbours in the FA Cup Final back in May - a win which ensured last season wasn't a total disaster. 

The visitors also boast more than enough quality in their ranks to hurt any side. It is more a question of whether they will turn up and realise said potential. 

All in all, Coral's offering of a United win at 17/4 looks too big a price to turn down given the current landscape with these two.
