Table-topping LA Galaxy travel to Austin FC in the MLS' Western Conference on Saturday evening.
Kick-off is set for 6:45pm at Q2 Stadium.
The hosts boast three wins in their last five outings in the MLS, but still find themselves eighth in the Western Conference after nine matches played. Josh Wolffs' side sit six points behind their opponents this weekend, and enter on the back of a 1-0 away win at Houston Dynamo.
Austin have averaged a respectable 1.6 points across their five encounters at Q2 Stadium so far, with their two sole wins in front of their home fans coming in their last two on home turf. Remarkably, eleven of their twelve goals have been scored in home fixtures so far, averaging 2.2 goals at home compared to a lowly 0.25 on the road.
Matches at Q2 have featured plenty of action, with Austin also conceding an average of two per game. In total, their home matches have averaged a whopping 4.2 goals so far.
Greg Vanney's side have hit the ground running at the start of the 2024 season, winning five of their opening nine matches. Only one of these games have ended in defeat, and Galaxy have had little trouble finding the net in both home and away fixtures so far.
Their 21 goals scored is second to only Inter Miami across both Conferences, and Vanney's men have averaged an impressive 2.4 on the road. Like their opponents this weekend, they've also made habit of conceding, with an average of 1.6 shipped on their travels so far.
Galaxy have also failed to register a clean sheet in away games so far, but have found the net in all nine of their matches.
The away side rightly enter favourites given their strong start to the 2024 Regular Season, and OddsNow back the Californian outfit to continue their good form this weekend. Plenty of goalscoring action can also be anticipated, with Galaxy's matches averaging four in total so far.
