he EFL returns with a full slate on Saturday afternoon so our tipster Adam Drury (@Adam_Drury1) has put together his four-fold from the afternoon's action.

Adam is looking to make it the perfect hat-trick after landing acca winners at a whopping 42/1 and 55/1 on the midweek slate across Tuesday and Wednesday.

The picks are from across the three divisions and form a 15/1 acca with Coral.

Adam Drury's EFL acca selections for Saturday, 25th January, 2025

Selection #1 - Wilson Isidor to score vs Plymouth (20/23)

Isidor is available at 5/4 to score with bet365, so take that if you fancy it as a single, but this is still a good enough price to include in an acca.

The Frenchman has scored eight goals since his move from Zenit in the summer — and is long overdue another after a freakish run of misses.

Having seen two penalties saved against Burnley last Friday evening, the striker was then denied by an unusual offside decision at Derby on Tuesday after finishing nicely.

He ranks eighth in the division for shots per game and takes on a Plymouth side that have conceded 35 goals in 14 away games this season, as well as being hit for five by Burnley at home on Tuesday night.

Selection #2 - Rotherham to beat Burton (21/20)

It took them a while to get going but Rotherham are finally powering up the League One table.

The Millers are only seven points outside the play-off places after a run of three wins in four, including consecutive 3-1 and 4-2 beatings of Bolton and Charlton at the New York Stadium.

Steve Evans' side sit fourth in the five-game form table and sit 10th for expected points, a metric that suggests they should have a few more than they have actually earned in reality.

Burton sit in the bottom four both in that table and the real-life league standings, losing six of their last eight home games.

Selection #3 - Colchester to beat Morecambe & under 4.5 goals (10/11)

None of Colchester's 18 home matches in all competitions this season have featured more than four goals, so it makes sense to take this goal line.

We will side with the hosts in terms of the result considering they have only lost two of their last 13 league games and kept clean sheets in eight of them.

Danny Cowley's side have drawn too many matches but rank up in seventh for expected points, suggesting they should begin to come out on the right side of those tight matches.

Morecambe have lost nine of their last 14 in the league, failing to score in seven of those games, so their hosts should need a maximum of two goals to win.

Selection #4 - Gillingham 'draw no bet' vs Tranmere (6/5)

Tranmere are on a sorry run of form, winning just two of their last 11 games and losing seven.

Rovers’ only victories on that run have come by one goal at home to Harrogate and Carlisle, both of whom sit in the bottom eight, and have lost their last two matches very easily at Walsall and AFC Wimbledon.

Gillingham are hardly in inspiring shape either but, all things considered, are a better side than Rovers and are worth having on side as clear underdogs.

The expected points table has them performing better than Saturday's opponents, while Tranmere's status as hosts could play against them considering the discontent among their supporters.
