Wolves vs Crystal Palace: Betting Odds & Prediction

Wolverhampton Wanderers continue to hunt down a top-half finish when they host Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles secured a thrilling 3-2 victory at Selhurst Park in the reverse fixture back in September. Kick-off is set for 3pm UK time at Molineux Stadium.

The hosts have struggled for form as of late, recording just one win in their last eight league outings. The run has left them in 12th, two points off Bournemouth in tenth, as Gary O'Neil's side search for a second top-half finish in three years.
Three of their last five home outings have also ended in defeat, though they did secure a 2-1 win over Luton Town in their last match on home turf. Wolves have managed only five clean sheets this term, including three at home, but they've not shutout an opponent since a 1-0 win over relegated Sheffield United back in February.
Their poor defensive record has no doubt held them back. With an average of 1.67 goals conceded, only six other sides have shipped more than the 70 goals Wolves have conceded home and away. O'Neil's men have been slightly better at the back in home fixtures, but will be cautious as they prepare to host a Palace side who recently hit four past Manchester United.
Goals haven't been hard to come by for the Midlanders, though, with Wolves failing to score in only 3 of their 18 home fixtures. Eight of these matches have seen them score at least twice.

Crystal Palace
Oliver Glasner's side come into the match unbeaten in their last five league outings, including an emphatic 4-0 home win over Manchester United on Monday night. The result made it 12 goals in their last four for Palace, who conceded just three goals in return during that period. Though a top-half finish looks unlikely, the Eagles will surely be buoyed by their resurgence since Glasner was appointed in February.
Their away form hasn't been great, with just one point averaged across 18 away outings, but Palace will surely fancy their chances given the form of their opponents on Saturday. Goals have been harder to come by on the road, where they've averaged only 0.94 scored, but Palace's recent goalscoring form combined with Wolves' defensive woes will encourage the away side this weekend.
Though the 1.72 goals conceded on the road is alarming, Palace have recorded three clean sheets in their last five, including a 1-0 win away at third-placed Liverpool.
Prediction
Despite Palace's shaky away record overall, they have been in great form as of late and will be buoyed further by their resounding win at Selhurst Park on Monday. Wolves look desperate for the season to end, and OddsNow back the away side to pickup another three points in the Midlands.
