Back Casemiro shots and fouls

Casemiro looks set to be right in the thick of things in Bilbao.

The Brazilian has had at least one shot in six of his last seven Premier League matches and in all of his last five in the Europa League.

He also has managed two shots in both league matches against Tottenham this season – and on the 26 occasions he has had an effort on goal across the league and Europe this term, he has gone on to add at least one more 50% of the time.

I’m also going to take the Brazilian in the fouls market.

He has committed at least one foul in all of his last four Premier League games and in two of his last three in Europe, while he has drawn the referee’s whistle three times across two league clashes with Spurs.

I am backing him for one shot and foul in the 9/2 bet, and two or more of each in the 95/1 pick.

Cristian Romero also set to make his mark

To complement our opening selections, I'll include exactly the same picks for Spurs defender Cristian Romero.

The influential 27-year-old has had an effort on goal in 12 of his 18 league appearances this season, including in all of his last three since returning from injury in April – and one against United back in September.

In Europe, he also had a shot in the second leg against Eintracht Frankfurt and took four across the two semi-final clashes with Bodo-Glimt.

The Argentinian is also a prolific fouler, drawing the referee’s whistle once again in 12 of those 18 league outings and in all of his last four.

He has committed a foul in all six of his Europa League appearances this term, at least doubling his tally on three occasions.

So, I’ll include one shot and foul for the 9/2 pick and two of each for the 95/1 long shot.
