Sporting Kansas City host LA Galaxy at Children's Mercy Park on Sunday with the two sides sitting level on six points after four games.
Kick-off is set for 12:30am UK time on Sunday morning.
Peter Vermes' side have endured mixed form at the start of the 2024 Regular Season. While Kansas are yet to lose a game, they've only managed one win from their first four matches (W1, D3). Their sole victory came last time out with a 2-1 home win over San Jose Earthquakes.
The home side have averaged one goal per game so far, compared to an expected goal (xG) tally of 1.14. They have however been tight at the back, conceding only 0.75 goals per game compared to an average expected goal against (xGA) of 1.48.
Kansas have also averaged a healthy 8.5 shots per game so far, with a conversion rate of 12%. Their games have averaged 1.75 goals in total so far, though this increases to 2.5 when they hold home advantage.
They currently find themselves in sixth place in the Western Conference and level on points with LA Galaxy, who are ahead in fourth on goal difference.

Galaxy endured a disappointing campaign last year, finishing second from bottom in the Western Conference ahead of the Colorado Rapids. Like their opponents this weekend, Galaxy have won just one of their opening four matches while drawing the other three.
Last time out saw a 3-3 home draw against St. Louis. Galaxy also suffered their second red card of the season when Martin Caceres was dismissed in the ninth minute of stoppage time.
Galaxy have excelled in an attacking sense so far, averaging 1.99 goals per game so far this season and boast an xG tally of 2.25. They have however been liable to let goals in, averaging 1.75 goals conceded so far compared to an xGA of 1.41.
The California outfit have scored in all four of their games, but are yet to keep a clean sheet. Their games have averaged four goals in total so far this campaign.
Galaxy have guaranteed goals at both ends of the pitch so far this season, but come up against a defensively robust Sporting Kansas side this weekend. The latter averaged 1.74 points per game at home last season whilst maintaining a +10 goal difference.
OddsNow back the home side to earn the victory this weekend in an entertaining match-up.
