Spain host Colombia in an international friendly on Friday as the home side continue to prepare for the European Championships this summer.

The two sides will face-off at West Ham's London Stadium, with kick-off set for 8:30pm UK time.

Recent Form

Spain

The home side secured passage to EURO 2024 by topping Group A with a total of 21 points. They finished four points clear of second-placed Scotland, winning seven while losing only one of their qualifying fixtures.

Spain scored an impressive 27 goals in the process, with an average of 2.7 per match. They also conceded just six goals, at an average of 0.6 per match. 50% of their qualifying matches resulted in clean sheets for the two-time European Championship winners. Spain also failed to score in just two of the ten games.

Five of the matches saw Spain score over 2.5 goals, while they conceded two or more in just one. Their six qualifying matches saw an average of 3.3 goals per match in total.

Colombia

Colombia's two most recent outings were in international friendlies. Most recently, they secured a 3-2 away victory over Mexico, one week after a 1-0 home win over Venezeula.

Colombia find themselves third in the CONMEBOL World Cup 2026 Qualifying standings, three points behind leaders Argentina and two off second-placed Uruguay. They've won three and drawn three of their six matches so far, while scoring six and and conceding three.

Nestor Lorenzo's side have averaged an xG of 1.54 in World Cup Qualifying, but have only managed to average one goal per game so far. They have excelled defensively, though. Despite averaging an xGA of 1.22, they have conceded only 0.5 goals per game so far.

Colombia have kept clean sheets in 67% of qualifying matches, while failing to score in only 33%. Their matches have averaged 1.5 goals in total so far.

Prediction

OddsNow expect Spain's goalscoring form to continue against their South American counterparts on Friday, with plenty of goal-mouth action anticipated. While they enter as firm favourites, there is little value on offer on the moneyline.

OddsNow's Picks: Spain to win (4/5 @ 10bet); Over 3 goals scored (16/13 @ vBet)
