Brentford secured a fourth consecutive season in England's top-flight last season, but how will they fare in 2024/25?
We delve into the Bees' prospects ahead of the new season.
An injury-stricken campaign saw Brentford endure their toughest Premier League season yet. The loss of star striker Ivan Toney for the first half was compounded by a dearth of injuries in defensive quarters.
Nevertheless, Thomas Frank's side managed to avoid a relegation dogfight, eventually finishing nine points above the drop zone in 16th thanks largely to a strong conclusion to the campaign.
Forward Yoane Wissa topped Brentford's scoring charts with 12 goals, while Bryan Mbuemo finished with the most assists for the Bees (6).

The Bees will be crossing fingers and toes for better luck on the injury front. Predicting their fortunes largely depends on the future of striker Ivan Toney, who may still leave with his contract due to expire next summer.
The signing of Brazilian forward Igor Thiago was perhaps anticipating the potential departure of their captain. Thiago mustered an impressive 29 goal for Club Brugge last season but it remains to be seen how he will fare in English football. Nevertheless, forwards Bryan Mbuemo and Yoanne Wissa provide a reliable buffer up top after combining for a total 21 goals in all competitions last term.
Surviving the drop will be the main priority for Frank and is a realistic aim, providing they enjoy better fortunes in the injury department. The fitness of centre-back Ethan Pinnock will be paramount while, should Toney opt to depart, the form of the likes of Thiago, Mbuemo and Wissa will be vital if they are to avoid a relegation dogfight once again.
