We've seen two quick-fire managerial exits in recent days with the axing of both Julen Lopetegui and Sean Dyche, but who will be next manager out of the door in the Premier League?

Odds Now's Brad Walker (@brad_TWalker) runs you through the market leaders before giving a best bet of his own.

Next Premier League manager to leave their post - market leaders

We're not even two weeks into January and two heads have already rolled, but who will be next on the chopping block? Here are the four market leaders at the time of writing.

Ange Postecoglou (9/4)

Things haven't quite gone to plan for Postecoglou in his second season with Tottenham, though he's hardly been helped by an ongoing injury crisis in defence.

Spurs have already reacted in the January window with the signing of 21-year-old goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky from Slavia Prague and more incomings could be due before the deadline.

For all of their troubles in the first half of the campaign, securing European football remains a realistic aim for Postecoglou due to how tight things are around midtable, but form will need to drastically improve before they find themselves with too much of a gap to make up.

Winning the Carabao Cup would ease pressure significantly on the Australian, whose side take a 1-0 lead to Anfield following victory over Liverpool in the first leg of the semi-finals this week.

Ultimately, while Daniel Levy will want to see sharp improvements pretty soon, Postecoglou has enough money in the bank to earn himself more time in the dugout.

Ruud van Nistelrooy (9/1)

Like Juric, former PSV manager van Nistelrooy has also overseen a dismal start to life at his new club.

Leicester have recorded five losses in a row, which has coincided with a decline in their attacking edge.

Despite finding the net in their opening 10 league matches, the Foxes have now failed to score in three of their last five.

Two upcoming home games against Crystal Palace and Fulham could throw van Nistelrooy a lifeline as he desperately clamours to secure survival, but more poor results could see another change in the King Power dugout before the end of the season.

Ivan Juric (14/1)

The former Roma boss replaced Russell Martin a few days before Christmas following Russell Martin's sacking, but Southampton's descent has continued.

Juric is yet to win a game with his new club, who have failed to score in three of his five matches in charge.

Three defeats on the spin have only compounded the Saints' woes into the new year, including a 5-0 home drubbing at the hands of Brentford last time out.

With a return to the Championship seemingly inevitable, the Southampton board may feel forced into another tough decision if a dramatic improvement in results doesn't occur soon.

Pep Guardiola (14/1)

Consecutive victories over Leicester and West Ham have left Guardiola with some reason for optimism, though both matches continued to highlight their susceptibility on the turnover.

The reigning champions are already making moves in the transfer market with a move to sign young Palmeiras centre-back Vitor Reis, while coveted Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush is also reportedly on the Manchester City radar.

Whether the winter acquisitions will be enough to salvage anything of note this season remains to be seen, but Guardiola's achievements since walking through the Etihad doors makes him unsackable.

The only way he departs between now and May is by choosing to walk away himself, but the recent signing of a new contract in November makes that seem unlikely.

Odds Now's best bet

Postecoglou comes in a distant favourite to be the next man on the chopping block, but I just can't see it happening.

For all of Spurs' struggles this season, it's hard to ignore the plethora of injuries the Australian has had to content with, particularly in defensive quarters.

He's also two games away from delivering Spurs' first trophy in over 16 years, a feat which will almost certainly earn him another stab at the job for next season should he accomplish it.

Don't get me wrong, results need to pickup sooner rather than later - Spurs cannot continue to linger in the second half of the table come March/April time - but backing Postecoglou to be the next manager out the door seems a reach.

For me, this comes down to either Van Nistelrooy or Juric.

Both Leicester and Southampton will be desperate to avoid dropping back down to the Championship at the first time of asking, and desperation often breeds knee-jerk decisions.

Sure, both men have only been in the job a matter of weeks, but if results continue on their current trajectory then you wouldn't bet against another changeover in the dugout before the end of the season.

If I had to pick between the two, I'd be edging towards Juric as the next man axed, simply because 14/1 is incredibly wide for a man who has one point from his opening 12 and whose side was slapped 5-0 at home last time out.

I'm not sure there's a man on the market capable of keeping the Saints in the league, but that doesn't mean the club won't do all they can to find a solution between now and May.
