Liverpool look to take the first step towards defending their Carabao Cup crown when they welcome a struggling West Ham side to Anfield on Wednesday.
Odds Now's Brad Walker has put up a tasty 10/1 bet-builder for you to delve into ahead of kick-off on Merseyside.
The Reds come into this season's iteration as reigning champions after a thrilling victory over Chelsea in last year's final.
Captain Virgil van Dijk rose to the occasion to score a last-gasp winner for a depleted Liverpool side which had been wrecked by injuries, securing a record ninth League Cup for the club in the process.
The triumph turned out to be Jurgen Klopp's final trophy in charge, but the German will be satisfied with his replacement's start at Anfield.
Dutch head coach Arne Slot has seen his side win four of their first five in the Premier League, while also getting off to a winning start in the Champions League against AC Milan.
Liverpool have also conceded just one league goal across those five league outings.
The same cannot be said of their opponents West Ham, who are also finding their feet under a new manager in Julen Lopetegui.
His start has been far from ideal, though. A 3-0 home loss to Chelsea at the weekend means they already have three league defeats to their name before the end of September.
In fact, the Hammers have won just two games under the Spaniard so far, which includes a 1-0 home victory against Bournemouth in the previous round of this competition.
All in all, it's hard to make a case for an away win in this one.
More rotation can be expected in the Liverpool midfield.
Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai have been the three who have started the majority of games this season but Slot will likely grant opportunities to some of his fringe players.
One man who fits in that category is local hero Curtis Jones.
The Liverpudlian has only featured twice so far this season - both from the bench - but could be handed his first start since Slot's arrival.
A strong performance will be needed if he is to break into the Dutchman's usual starting three but the 23-year-old can take inspiration from his performance in this fixture last season.
Jones scored twice in the Reds' 5-1 home triumph over the Hammers at the quarter-final stage of this competition en route to eventually being crowned champions under the Wembley arch.
In total, he has five goals and an assist in 13 appearances in the Carabao Cup - a tally he'll be confident of adding to again on Wednesday.
The Dutch winger was unfortunate not to start against Bournemouth given his exploits against AC Milan five days earlier.
Gakpo was far and away the best player on the pitch at the San Siro and could easily have walked away with a couple of goals to his name.
He also shone in this competition last season, netting four goals in six appearances, including his side's third in their victory over the Hammers.
The imperious form of Luis Diaz has kept Gakpo out of the side in league outings but, with changes almost inevitable to the Liverpool lineup, the Dutchman will be granted another chance to impress on Wednesday evening.
