Turkey winger İrfan Kahveci was taken off at half-time in his side's 2-1 loss to Poland with an injury, with it unclear whether he will be fit to feature in the opener. They will also be without defenders Ridvan Yilmaz, Caglar Soyuncu and Ozan Kabak, who were all forced to withdraw from the tournament through injury.
Georgia are in the fortunate position of having no injury concerns ahead of their first ever match at a major tournament.
Turkey manager Vincenzo Montella will be concerned by his side's recent form. Not only are they winless in their last five, but they also endured a damaging 6-1 friendly loss to Austria in March. The 2-1 defeat to Poland on Monday was their third in their last four.
Georgia are the lowest-ranked competing side in the tournament (75th) but have won their last three on the bounce. A 0-0 draw with Greece in the play-off final, which they won on penalties, is the only time they've failed to score in their last nine matches.
Despite their recent form, Turkey are rightly firm favourites for this one. They have struggled for goals recently, though, having failed to score more than once in their last five matches.
Georgia have made a habit of scoring lately but will be eager to avoid a hammering in their first ever game at a tournament. While Turkey's added quality should prove too much for this Georgia side, we expect the debutants to give their fans something to cheer about with a goal in Dortmund.

Cristiano Ronaldo is set to lead the line once again for Portugal as the 39-year-old prepares for his 11th major tournament.
The Czech Republic will be without midfielder Michal Sadilek, who was forced to withdraw from the squad after injuring his leg when falling off a bike.
No side scored more goals than Portugal's 36 during qualifying. Their star-studded attack have also mustered a mighty eight goals in their last three outings, though recent defeats to Slovenia and Croatia have been worrying. They appear particularly susceptible at the back; their 3-0 win over the Republic of Ireland was their first clean sheet in four matches.
The Czech Republic, meanwhile, are unbeaten in seven and have won their last five on the bounce, including a 7-1 mauling of Malta last Friday. Manager Ivan Hašek will be grateful for the return of striker Patrik Schick, who netted five goals at EURO 2020 but has spent much of the time since battling injuries. Schick's penalty versus North Macedonia last time out was his first for his country since September 2022.
Portugal have an embarrassment of riches at their disposal in attacking areas but they appear considerably weaker in defense. They may have kept nine clean sheets during qualifying but also faced significantly inferior opposition. Slovakia were the second-highest ranked side alongside them in Group J, currently sitting at 48th in the world.
A Croatia side many consider to be on the decline also managed 16 shots on their goal last weekend en route to securing a 2-1 win over the Portuguese.
The Czech Republic are also in fine scoring form, having netted 17 in their last five and will look to test an ageing Portugal defence on Tuesday. While we expect Portugal to ultimately have too much for Hašek's men, expect the Czechs to find the back of the net in a hard-fought encounter in Leipzig.
