The final fixture of the weekend sees a stuttering Chelsea side welcome relegation battling Wolves to Stamford Bridge on Monday evening.

Chelsea were viewed as potential title contenders only a month ago, but now find themselves in a dogfight to secure Champions League football for next season. 

The Blues are winless in their last five following a 2-2 home draw with Bournemouth last time out, where a late Reece James equaliser salvaged a point for Enzo Maresca's men.

Recent weeks have provided a reality check after an impressive start to the Italian's tenure at Stamford Bridge.

Wolves are also enduring a cooling down period after a positive start under new head coach Vitor Pereira.

The Midlanders took seven points out of nine under the Portuguese's tutelage, only to suffer two 3-0 defeats to Nottingham Forest and Newcastle in their two subsequent outings.

The visitors still find themselves out of the relegation zone on goal difference heading into this one, but face a daunting run of fixtures over the coming weeks.

Back the Chelsea win with goals aplenty

Chelsea's recent form makes it hard to back them at 5/12, though Wolves have hardly convinced in recent weeks and rightly come in firm 7/1 underdogs ahead of kick-off. 

Don't get me wrong, the hosts should still have too much in attacking areas to ultimately move past the away side, but expect them to do so in entertaining fashion.

Wolves' Premier League matches have averaged a whopping 3.7 scored in total so far, largely thanks to their pretty hapless performances in defensive areas. 

With an average of 2.29 conceded, Chelsea's lengthy list of forward will surely be licking their lips at the prospect of facing-off against them on Monday evening. 

Then again, neither of these two have particularly impressed at the back, managing a combined seven clean sheets between them in the league so far.

Add in their two recent meetings, both of which saw Chelsea come out on top in 6-2 and 4-2 victories, then the home win with over 3.5 goals at 9/5 with Boyle Sports suddenly looks incredibly appealing.
