Atlético Madrid look to keep their faint title hopes alive as they head to relegation-battling Cadiz on Saturday afternoon.

How to watch Cadiz vs Atletico Madrid in the UK

UK viewers can watch the match live on ViaPlay Sports 2 and LALIGATV.

Recent Form

Cadiz will be looking to end a 15 game winless run. Their last win was a 3-1 victory all the way back in early September at home to Villarreal. They come into the weekend’s clash off the back of a 1-1 draw against Rayo Vallecano, which left them 18th, five points from safety.

The home side have lost two and drawn three in their last five games, scoring only three goals in the process. They are also the league's lowest scorers, with only 18 goals this term. Only forward Chris Ramos has scored over five goals this season.

Atlético go to the Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla buoyed after bouncing back from their midweek cup humiliation to Athletic Club, by beating Real Betis 2-1 at the Wanda Metropolitano. The win strengthened their grasp on fourth place, giving them a five point cushion on Athletic Club in fifth. They remain eleven points off leaders Real Madrid, however.

Diego Simeone's side have only lost once in their last five league games, a 1-0 defeat at Sevilla in February.

Atlético came out 3-2 winners in the reverse fixture earlier this season, with an Angel Correa brace and a Nahuel Molina goal earning the three points.

Team News

Top-scorer Ramos could return for Cadiz, having been a substitute in the draw against Rayo. The home side will continue to be without Luis Hernandez, Fede San Emerterio and Jose Mari who are all expected to miss the rest of the season.

Atlético will continue to be without long-term absentees Thomas Lemar, Marcos Paulo and César Azpilicueta. Star man Antoine Griezmann is also expected to miss out, with the Frenchman suffering an ankle injury in the Champions League loss to Inter Milan last week.
