The mid-week action returns with the resumption of the Carabao Cup. Can Brentford secure a spot in the quarter-finals, or will Sheffield Wednesday spring up an upset?

Odds Now's Brad Walker runs you through his 7/1 bet-builder ahead of kick-off at the Gtech Community Stadium on Tuesday.

Brad Walker's Brentford vs Sheffield Wednesday selections

Over 2.5+ goals scored (7/12)

Brentford's Premier League matches have seen plenty of action in front of goal, with only Wolves' matches have averaging more goals (4.11) than the four averaged in the Bees' nine outings so far.

Thomas Frank's side have certainly made for an entertaining watch.

While only Manchester City and Chelsea have scored more than the 18 netted by the Bees, they've also conceded the fourth-highest amount of goals in the division.

Sheffield Wednesday's 12 matches have also seen goals aplenty with an average of 2.58.

Both teams to score (5/6)

Brentford's 1-0 win at Colchester in the second round of this competition remains their only clean sheet in all competitions this term.

They've also conceded seven goals in their last three league matches - three of which came in their thrilling 4-3 victory over Ipswich Town at the weekend

Wednesday have also made habit of finding the back of the net on their travels.

Yoane Wissa to score anytime (7/4)

Bees forward Yoane Wissa marked his return from injury with his side's opening goal in the aforementioned win over Ipswich on Saturday.

The Congo international has now scored in four of his six league appearances this season and will likely lead the line once again as he looks to get more minutes under his belt.

Wednesday have also conceded in nine of their 12 outings in the Championship so far.
