Arne Slot's high-flying red machine return to Anfield on Wednesday evening when they play host to Champions League holders Real Madrid.
Liverpool have hardly put a foot wrong under their new Dutch manager but face an opponent they have struggled to pickup victories over down the years.
Odds Now's Brad Walker has taken a closer look to the fixture in his enticing 6/1 bet-builder.
Real Madrid have certainly enjoyed the better of the spoils in this fixture in recent times, but their unconvincing form this season is a major concern.
Debate rumbles on over whether summer signing Kylian Mbappe is able to play in the same team as Ballon D'or runner-up Vinicius Jr, whose absence through injury will be a major blow to the visitors' chances of landing an upset on Merseyside.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are on a roll.
Not only do Arne Slot's find themselves eight points clear at the top of the Premier League, but they also remain the only side to have won all four of their matches in the Champions League this term.
The latest saw them lay waste to Bayer Leverkusen with a 4-0 win at Anfield, while Madrid have lost two of their last three in the competition.
And while the reigning holders may have picked up with consecutive victories in La Liga recently, the momentum undoubtedly lies with the hosts, who rightly enter firm odds-on favourites at 5/6.
The Egyptian forward has been irresistible during the campaign's opening months, making a mockery of any doubters writing him off on the back of a rare dry spell at the end of last season.
Salah has already amassed an almighty 12 goals and 10 assists in all competitions this term, including a brace in a frenetic 3-2 away win at Southampton on Sunday.
The double means he has now found the back of the net in five Premier League matches running and, while he only boasts a single Champions League goal to his name after four matches, Salah will be licking his lips at Madrid's poor form in the competition so far.
Los Blancos have lost two of their last three in Europe and are yet to register a single clean sheet in the Champions League, averaging an alarming 1.45 xGA in the process.
Coupled with Salah's tendency to score in front of the Anfield crowd, it's hard to bet against him finding the net again in this one.
Finally, I'm also going to back a wealth of set-piece action across the 90 minutes at Anfield.
The main strengths of both of these sides come down their respective flanks.
We've already discussed the superb form of Salah, and teammates Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo, either of whom could start on the left, are also enjoying respectable campaigns so far.
Likewise, a lot of Madrid's offensive play will centre around the aforementioned Mbappe on the left side, who will surely hope to test second-choice right-back Conor Bradley.
Neither defence will be looking to give too much away though, likely leading to a high turn-over in set-pieces as both look to push for a victory.
