Third-place Arsenal look to maintain their push towards the Premier League title against a Brentford side in poor form in Saturday’s late kick-off.
UK viewers can watch the match live on the Sky Sports Premier League from 5pm, or Sky Sports Main Event from 5:30pm. Kick-off at the Emirates Stadium is set for 5:30pm.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal side head into the match after a 6-0 away thrashing of bottom of the table Sheffield United. The result made it seven league wins in a row for the Gunners, who have averaged over four goals per game in in that period. This strong form has taken Arsenal to within two points of the top spot in third place. They have extended their goal difference over both league leaders Liverpool and champions Manchester City.
In contrast, Brentford have struggled for form lately. Thomas Frank’s side held were held to a 2-2 draw against Chelsea last time out despite going ahead in the second half. They have failed to win in their last four matches, gaining only one point from a possible twelve in that time. Fixtures have however been difficult for the Bees, who have faced the Premier League’s top two teams in the past month before now facing third place Arsenal.

Arsenal defenders Oleksandr Zinchenko (calf injury) and Takehiro Tomiyasu (knock) are doubts, with the fixture also expected to be too soon for Jurrien Timber (knee injury) who recently returned to training after picking up a knee injury early in the season.
Gabriel Marinelli (cut) will need to be assessed this week after exiting early against Sheffield United, whilst Bukayo Saka is expected to recover from the illness which saw him substituted early in the same game. The Gunners’ midfield options are boosted by the return of Thomas Partey from the bench last time out.
Thomas Frank’s side have suffered many injury woes this season, with Ben Mee (ankle injury), Aaron Hickey (hamstring injury), Joshua Dasilva (knee injury) and Rico Henry (knee injury) all potentially out until the end of the season. The clash is expected to be too soon for returns from Bryan Mbeumo (ankle injury) or Ethan Pinnock (ankle injury) who can both be expected back on the pitch later in March.
Arsenal are strong favourites ahead of the match. Bet365 offer the Gunners to bag all three points at 1/4 (an implied probability of 80%). BetVictor offer underdogs Brentford to land the upset at 12/1 (an implied probability of 7.7%).
The draw comes in at 13/2 on vBet (an implied probability of 13.3%).
OddsNow expect Arsenal to continue their push for the Premier League title with a comfortable home victory over struggling Brentford.
