Will Tammara Thibeault exorcise her Tokyo 2020 demons and claim gold at Paris 2024?
We've taken a close look at the betting odds to run you through the key contenders at 75kg.
Canada's Tammara Thibeault came agonisingly close to an Olympic medal in Tokyo, suffering a quarter-final defeat to Dutch middleweight Nouchka Fontijn.
The Canadian has since rebounded in superb fashion though, winning gold at the Commonwealth Games, World Championships and most recently, the 2023 Pan American Games.
Remarkably, Thibeault is unbeaten since the defeat in the Japanese capital and is a hot favourite to win gold this time around in Paris.
China's Qian Li is a distant second favourite heading into the Games.
Nevertheless, Li has enjoyed a decorative amateur career which included a silver medal in Tokyo three years ago.
A defeat to Great Britain's Lauren Price denied her top spot but Li bounced back with two gold medals at the 2022 and 2023 Asian Games.
She also won bronze at the 2023 World Championships, having previously won both gold and silver in previous iterations of the competition.
Li has only won one of her three meetings with Thibeault though, and has lost on the last two occasions the pair have met.
Ireland's Aoife O'Rourke comes heads into Paris 2024 a firm outsider but will fancy her chances of landing a spot on the podium.
The 27-year-old won a third European Championship gold medal in Belgrade earlier this year, which now sits alongside the European Games gold she claimed in July 2023.
O'Rourke also picked up an impressive split-decision win over Qian Li in February, avenging the loss which saw her bow out at the Toyko 2020 last sixteen stage three years ago.
