Cheltenham’s opening day sees four red-hot favourites line up, with bookies desperate to get at least one of the hotpots beat to shoot down the masses of public money flowing onto the 'banker accumulator'.
The feature race is the Champion Hurdle at 4pm, with Constitution Hill looking to regain his crown against a stellar bunch of opposition led by popular mare Brighterdaysahead.
Here are my insights and betting picks at current prices for each of Tuesday’s races. Let us know what you fancy on social media!
All about Kopek Des Bordes here, of course, but Irancy is the one I like at the prices.
A second season novice, he ran only once last season when finishing third behind Ballyburn and Firefox. Subsequently had his reappearance in November and was very impressive on that day, winning by nine lengths and has not been seen since.
The favourite is obviously going to be tough to beat but how he handles the occasion is something to keep an eye on. He is wearing a first-time hood and its worth noting since 1992 there hasn’t been a single Supreme winner wearing headgear.
Majborough just wins this. From my view, its nothing new to say but if he was going to give Sir Gino a proper race, then nothing in here will come close.
The collateral form from Touch Me Not confirms as such. Majborough beat him by nine lengths with ease whereas second favourite L’eau Du Sud beat him by under four lengths, despite Touch Me Not trying to take the sixth fence around with him.
This looks an ideal one to stick in a double with fellow short-priced favourite Lossiemouth, who I'll come on to shortly.
Malina Girl has ran at Cheltenham a few times and has shown a clear liking for the track.
Two runs this season, the first of which saw her thrown in at the deep end in a race against some top mares, finishing third. Then she came over to Exeter for her most recent run and ran a decent race to finish second behind a thriving rival.
Stamina certainly won’t be an issue and back at a track she loves, I think she has a great chance here off 142.
Lossiemouth won this race last year with ease. This year, the plan was the Champion Hurdle but two prep runs that didn’t go to plan has changed that.
She didn’t handle the early speed in the Christmas Hurdle and then fell heavily in the Irish Champion Hurdle, but she comes here and is just clear of the rest.
There will be concern as to that fall last time but if she wasn’t right, she wouldn’t run – not just be switched to an easier race.
Constitution Hill is back to take his title back and its going to be an amazing race, watching what could legitimately be the best ever vs a very respected mare in Brighterdaysahead.
In line with my preview of this race where I suggested Constitution Hill will win this race and Brighterdaysahead will follow him home, that assessment sets up for a straight forecast bet.

Puturhandstogether is a horse I think we are yet to see the best of.
Last time on heavy ground, he finished second and to me it looked like winning wasn’t the plan that day. I do think this ground will be a lot more to his liking here and expect we see the best of him come out at Prestbury Park.
Interestingly, Mark Walsh has chosen him over stablemate and shorter-priced rival Beyond Your Dreams.
Resplendent Grey is a horse that I have followed since his impressive victory on reappearance, before running a cracker at this track in November when finishing strongly from the back to finish ¾ length second behind Hyland.
On his most recent run, they dropped him back to 2 ½ miles and it was so clear that he wasn’t comfortable the whole way around. Back on decent ground, and with some crucial Cheltenham form in the book, I think he will stay and run very well.
