Preston open the doors for local rivals Burnley on Saturday lunchtime with both sides bidding for a spot in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
Odds Now's Brad Walker (@brad_TWalker) has taken a closer look at the match-up and put up two fanices.
Hosts Preston are certainly a stronger side at home, having averaged 1.59 points per home game in the Championship. Paul Heckingbottom's side are also unbeaten in their last 12 on home soil in all competitions.
Compare to their away form, where they've averaged a dismal 0.88 points, and there's no doubting they're a much tougher proposition at Deepdale.
Still, visitors Burnley look to be a level above and are vying for a return to English football's top-flight next season. Scott Parker's men are also in the midst of a phenomenal 23 match unbeaten run. Burnley also ousted Premier League strugglers Southampton with a 1-0 win in the previous round.
Despite Burnley's impeccable recent form, the Clarets are still available at a best price of 6/5 at the time of writing.
Perhaps the market is taking the hosts' recent home form into account, but getting a promotion chaser at odds-against versus a side dwelling in the second half of the Championship is hard to turn down.
Both of these sides have also played out two 0-0 draws this season, which is likely another factor in the current prices.
Still, it's hard to look past a side who haven't lost a single match since the start of November.
The 6/5 price on offer for a Burnley win is tempting enough, but given the away side's defensive record, it might also be worth backing them to come out on top without conceding.
The Clarets have put up simply stunning numbers in defensive quarters after conceding a mere nine goals across 34 Championship matches this term.
Burnley have also kept 25 clean sheets in the process, 12 of which have came on away soil. Their last three meetings with Preston have also seen them shutout their Lancashire rivals.
Yet, despite all of this, a Burnley win to nil still sits at a very wide 23/10 at the time of writing. That price is another one worth jumping on ahead of kick-off this weekend.
