Selection #1 - Ilkay Gundogan shots vs Everton

German midfielder Ilkay Gundogan is playing comfortably his best football since rejoining Manchester City last summer, impacting games in the final third consistently.

Since returning to the starting XI in the middle of March, the 34-year-old has fired off efforts in four consecutive league games, including two against Brighton and three against Crystal Palace last time out.

Most impressively of all, in the middle of that run of Premier League matches, he also had four shots away at Bournemouth in the FA Cup.

Pep Guardiola has found a way to get his midfielder into more advanced positions and we don’t see why that should change at Everton this weekend.

He is 1/3 to take one shot – a good enough price to take in a double – and 2/1 for two or more.

Selection #2 - Youri Tielemans shots vs Newcastle

Tielemans shots won us a bet in the Champions League on Tuesday and we have no qualms in going back in again at backable prices.

At 4/7 to take one shot against Newcastle, and 13/5 for two, we have prices which we will use to help build our doubles.

The Belgian ended up taking four efforts at goal against PSG on Tuesday, an indicator that the quality of the opponent does not restrict him from getting into positions to take aim.

He has had at least one effort in five of his six European home matches this term, as well as two away to RB Leipzig in the group stage, while his domestic record is also excellent.

Tielemans has let fly in 12 of his last 14 Premier League games, including four at Southampton last time out.

He has reached at least two shots on nine of those occasions, too, so doubling his tally is certainly not beyond him when Aston Villa take on Newcastle on Saturday evening.
