Portsmouth vs Leeds: 11/8 and 50/1 betting tips for Championship clash

Portsmouth host Leeds on Sunday lunchtime in front of both the Sky Sports and ITV Sport cameras in what should be a tasty encounter.

Colby Bishop shots

Bishop has had a shot in all of his 11 home league matches this season, only missing out once either home or away.

The striker has gone on to have two or more efforts in nine of his last 14 games, including against other top-four sides Sunderland, Burnley and Sheffield United.

Portsmouth do not hold back at Fratton Park and will be aiming to get their talismanic forward into the best areas possible again.

Backing him to have one effort is straightforward and we'll double it for the bigger-priced punt.

Jayden Bogle shots

The same applies to Bogle, who is a reliable source of shots from right-back.

The 24-year-old has had an effort on goal in six of his last eight league matches, including two or more on three of those occasions.

Having fired off at least one attempt in four of his last five away games, we do not need to worry about Leeds being on the road here either.

Again, we will take one shot for the short price and two or more for the bigger one.

Ao Tanaka shots

Tanaka has had a strike on goal in 21 of his last 25 games and all of his last six.

He has had multiple efforts in three of his last nine matches, including an away game at fifth-place Coventry and at home to fourth-place Sunderland.

Portsmouth have faced the fourth-most shots in the Championship and Leeds have had the most so it makes sense to include a player who shoots in nearly every match.

Isaac Hayden to be carded

Hayden is yet to be carded for Portsmouth but it seems a matter of time.

The January signing from Newcastle has committed a foul in seven of his 10 matches and two fouls in six of them.

A niggly midfielder, he has a reputation for picking up cards and a game against a side that will dominate possession looks to be a good match for a card.
