The FA Cup fourth-round action concludes with an all-Premier League tie between Nottingham Forest and Ipswich on Monday evening.

Our tipster Brad Walker (@brad_TWalker) has picked out TWO fancies ahead of kick-off at the City Ground.

Nottingham Forest vs Ipswich analysis - Out of form Forest still favourites

It's hard to be too critical of Nottingham Forest considering what they've achieved so far this season, but Nuno Espirito Santo's side head into this one in a bit of a slump.

The hosts have failed to win any of their last three in the league, having tasted defeat to both Fulham and Newcastle before playing out a 0-0 draw with Arsenal last Wednesday.

Those two losses did come on the road though, meaning they are now eight matches unbeaten at the City Ground following their stalemate with the Gunners.

Six of those games also ended in a Forest victory, including a 1-0 win over tonight's opponents Ipswich at the end of November.

The Tractor Boys have been the most spirited of the three promoted sides but remain on course for an immediate return to the Championship this term.

Ipswich's victories over Bristol Rovers and Coventry in the previous rounds of this competition are their only wins this calendar year.

Best bets for Nottingham Forest vs Ipswich on Monday, March 3rd, 2025

Selection #1 - Nottingham Forest to win & BTTS - 12/5

Forest's recent form has hardly convinced but I think we can afford them a slight dip given their performance this season.

They've also continued to dominate at home, leaving them with the fifth-best home record in the Premier League.

Santo's men have been revered for a refreshingly pragmatic approach this term, yet have still averaged an impressive 1.69 goals scored at the City Ground in the league.

They also welcome an Ipswich side which has been conceding goals for fun, shipping an average of 2.08 in away fixtures so far.

The visitors have scored in each of their last six games in all competitions though and face a Forest side which is dusting itself off after some disappointing results, making the Forest win with both teams scoring a tantalizing proposition.

Selection #3 - Alex Palmer (Ipswich) to make over 3.5 saves - 10/11

Palmer put pen to paper with Ipswich at the start of the month, joining from West Brom on an undisclosed fee and has started each of their last three league matches.

The 28-year-old has seen his fair share of action between the sticks, averaging four saves per match across those matches in an Ipswich shirt.

Given his side's recent defensive woes - they've not kept a clean sheet since the middle of January and have conceded at least two goals in six of their last seven - getting him just shy of even money to replicate his recent form is an appealing bet indeed.
