Struggling Manchester United welcome an Arsenal side clinging onto feint hopes of winning the Premier League this season.
Our tipster Brad Walker (@brad_TWalker) previews the fixture and puts up a solid 4/5 best bet.
The Red Devils' miserable campaign continued last weekend when they were handed a penalty shootout defeat by Fulham in the FA Cup. United entered this year's iteration as the current holders after beating rivals Manchester City in last year's final, yet they are now staring down the barrel of a season without any silverware this time around.
There may be some hope of lifting the Europa League - they played out a 1-1 draw at Real Sociedad in their round of sixteen first leg on Thursday - but Ruben Amorim's men will have to greatly improve on recent showings if they are to stand any chance.
Amorim's crop head into this game in 14th position and were made to work hard for a 3-2 home win over Ipswich in their last league outing. Some credit should be afforded for playing a large bulk of that game with 10 men, but the hosts continue to disappoint the Old Trafford faithful.
They also welcome an Arsenal side who, despite a lengthy injury list in attacking areas, put a whopping seven goals past PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League on Wednesday. The result came after the Gunners had failed to score in three of their four previous outings, a run which has greatly cost them in the title race.
Arsenal now trail leaders Liverpool by 13 points, a gap which could be extended to 16 by the time kick-off comes around at Old Trafford.
To be fair to United, they do seem to raise their game against the division's top sides. They've already beaten Manchester City at the Etihad, drawn away at Liverpool and knocked Arsenal out of the FA Cup, albeit on penalties.
This, along with the visitors' poor record in front of goal in the league, perhaps explain why Arsenal are only just below even money to secure three points here. Mikel Arteta's men currently sit at a best price of 4/5, though that could quickly shorten between the time of writing and Sunday afternoon.
Cutting straight to the chase, I'm going to keep this simple and back the away win this weekend. United have been abysmal for large parts of Amorim's tenure and welcome an Arsenal side whose tails will be up after their resounding win in the Netherlands during midweek.
An early away goal could see the home crowd turn quickly, as has happened a few times in recent weeks, making United's tasks that much more difficult. Ultimately, getting a side who currently sit second against a side well into the bottom half of the table at 4/5 is too good to turn down.
