Both Leicester City and Nottingham Forest head into their Friday night frenzy on the back of wins, but who will come out on top in the East Midlands Derby?

Odds Now's Brad Walker runs you through a teasing 13/1 bet-builder ahead of kick-off at the King Power Stadium.

Brad Walker's Leicester City vs Nottingham Forest bet-builder selections

Selection #1 - Nottingham Forest to win (6/4)

The Foxes' confidence is at the highest point it's been since they returned to English football's top-flight.

Steve Cooper's men have recorded back-to-back victories, starting with a 1-0 home win vs Bournemouth prior to the international break, before a stunning comeback victory at relegation rivals Southampton last weekend.

The Welshman will also be facing his former club for the first time since leaving in December 2023, but Forest are in a much stronger position than they were in 10 months ago.

They've been flying so far in Nuno Espirito Santo's first term in charge and sit with 13 points to their name after eight matches.

Forest are unbeaten in their last six away fixtures in the Premier League and have already taken points from the likes of Brighton, Chelsea and Liverpool on the road.

All in all, despite Leicester's recent resurgence, the away victory remains the sensible pick for this one.

Selection #2 - Both teams to score (7/10)

Goals haven't been hard to come by for either of these two.

Forest's 1-0 home defeat to Fulham at the end of last month is the only time they've failed to find the back of the net this season.

Leicester have been equally as aggressive on the front foot.

Cooper's side have scored in every single league match they've played - a feat only champions Manchester City have been able to match.

While Forest's added quality should ultimately shine through, the home side should have something to cheer about before the 90 minutes are up.

Selection #3 - Chris Wood to score anytime (23/10)

The New Zealand striker has carried his positive form from last season into the new campaign.

Wood scored his fifth league goal of the season versus Crystal Palace on Monday and prepares to face a Leicester side who have struggled for clean sheets so far this term.

They've managed just one across their eight matches, which came in their win against Bournemouth on matchday six.

The 32-year-old has also scored in three of his last four league outings and remains in good stead to bag again here.
