Lazio host Juventus at the Stadio Olimpico on Tuesday night for the second leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final clash.

Juventus lead the hosts 2-0 followinf the first leg after goals from Dusan Vlahovic and Federico Chiesa in Turin at the start of the month. Kick-off is set for 8pm UK time in the Italian capital.

Recent Form

Lazio

Giovanni Martusciello's men have played three matches since their defeat in the first leg, recording two victories and a loss. A 1-0 defeat to arch rivals Roma was followed by consecutive wins over Salernitana and Genoa to leave them seventh in the table, three points off Roma in the Europa League qualifying place.

Their Coppa Italia cup run has seen them record victories over the aforementioned Roma and Genoa, both of which took place on home turf. Their only away match in the competition was the defeat against Juventus in the first leg.

Despite averaging just 1.02 goals scored in their Coppa Italia matches so far, Lazio have only conceded an average of 0.67. They are also yet to concede in a cup match at home. This isn't too dissimilar from their form in Serie A, where 1.27 goals scored compares with 1.06 conceded. 44% of Lazio's home fixtures have ended in a clean sheet in the league.

Lazio's overall home form hasn't been terrible but is also far from convincing; their average of 1.69 points per game leaves them with the ninth-best home record in the division, but Martusciello's men have struggled for goals. 31% of these fixtures have seen them fail to score.

Juventus

Massimiliano Allegri's side have record just one win since the first leg - a 1-0 home triumph over Fiorentina. Two draws have followed since - 0-0 at city rivals Torino and 2-2 away at Cagliari. That makes it six away matches without a win for Juventus.

All three of their matches in the Coppa Italia have taken place on home soil; a 6-1 victory over Salernitana was followed by a 4-0 win against Frosinone before the first leg against Lazio three weeks ago.

Juve will therefore be grateful for their lead heading into the second leg, particularly given their 1-0 defeat at Lazio in Serie A last month. Nevertheless, their away record remains the third best in the division, though they've averaged just 1.71 points on the road compared to 2.19 at home.

They will be confident of shutting out an already toothless Lazio side, though; Juventus have conceded just 0.94 goals on average in their away fixtures, 41% of which have ended in a clean sheet.

Their average of 1.41 goals scored means they're far from free-scoring, but their defensive record combined with their 2-0 lead on aggregate leaves them in a strong position ahead of Tuesday's match.

Prediction

The damage may have already been done in the first leg for Lazio, who face a Juventus side who have been solid at both ends of the pitch this season. The home side will look to overturn the deficit in front of their home fans but this will only present Juventus with an opportunity to kill the tie on the counter-attack.
