In-form Ipswich Town look to continue their push for promotion when they host mid-table Bristol City on Tuesday evening.

How to Watch Ipswich Town vs Bristol City in the UK:

UK viewers can watch the game live on Sky Sports Football with coverage set to begin at 7pm. Kick-off is set for 8pm UK time.

Recent Form:

Ipswich Town:

Ipswich head into the match as the Championship's most in-form side, having won their last five matches. The run has left them second in the table and just three points behind leaders Leicester City after 35 games played. The Blues haven't experienced Premier League football since 2002 but look in a strong position to secure an automatic play-off spot.

Maintaining their good run will be crucial however with Leeds United (third, two points behind) and Southampton (fourth, five points behind) breathing down their necks.

Town ran out 2-0 away winners versus Plymouth Argyle in their last match with a Brendon Galloway own goal and Kieffer Moore strike securing the three points.

Bristol City:

Bristol City find themselves meandering in 13th place heading into the match but are only six points above the relegation zone after 35 matches. A 1-0 home defeat to Cardiff on Saturday did little to assure City fans of their Championship status next season, and so the away side will be looking to cement their mid-table position at Ipswich on Tuesday.

The Cardiff loss is the latest defeat in what has become a three-game losing streak for Bristol City in all competitions, with their last victory coming at home to Southampton on 13th February.

Team News:

Ipswich will be without centre-forward George Hirst (torn muscle fibre) and central midfielder Jack Taylor (unknown).

City meanwhile will be missing forward Sam Bell who is out for the season with a hamstring injury. Loanee Scott Twine is also expected to sit out with a quad injury.

Betting Odds:

Ipswich understandably enter the match as strong favourites, with Coral offering the home side at 4/7 to bag all three points (an implied probability of 63.64%). The away side are in desperate need of a win themselves but enter as heavy underdogs. BetFred offer Bristol City at 5/1 to win on the night, with an implied probability of just 16.67%.

The draw comes in at 16/5 with bet365 (an implied probability of 23.81%).

Prediction:

OddsNow expect Ipswich to continue their title charge against a stuttering Bristol City side with Kieffer Moore getting his name on the scoresheet.
