Europa Conference League: Two cross-match doubles for Thursday night

The Conference League returns to action on Thursday evening, as Real Betis host Fiorentina and Chelsea travel to Djurgardens in the semi-final first legs.

Predicting Chelsea’s team is a difficult task but we’ll take a risk on Sunday’s game against Liverpool meaning Enzo Maresca will use a few reserve players in this first leg.

If that is the case, backing George for shots makes plenty of sense.

The winger scored in the quarterfinal first leg against Lega Warsaw before firing off two efforts off the bench in the second game at Stamford Bridge.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side have scored in 23 of their 24 home matches this term, so seem almost certain to add to the scoring here.

Fiorentina have scored and conceded in all of their last five away matches and in 10 of their last 11.

They have netted twice in four of their last five on the road and scored in all of their matches in this competition this season.

For the longer price, we’ll add Real Betis to win. The La Liga side have won four of their last five at home, while Fiorentina have lost four of their last seven on the road.
