Spain manager Luis de la Fuente has the luxury of a full squad to pick from. After rotating several key figures during their 1-0 win over Albania, the Spanish are expected to return to full strength for this one. The return of midfield maestro Rodri will be welcome after the Manchester City midfielder sat out the Albania match due to suspension.
Predicted XI: Simon; Carvajal, Le Normand, Laporte, Cucurella; Pedri, Rodri, Ruiz; Yamal, Morata, N. Williams
Georgia midfielder Anzor Mekvabishvili misses out through suspension after picking up his second yellow card of the tournament in their remarkable 2-0 victory over Portugal on Wednesday. The 23-year-old came off the bench before receiving the booking and so manager Willy Sagnol could name the same eleven which started in Gelsenkirchen.
Taking nine points from a possible nine, Spain have arguably been the most eye-catching side in Germany so far. While other big-hitters England, France and Portugal have all been blighted by underwhelming performances, de la Fuente's crop hardly put a foot wrong in a group many were dubbing the 'Group of Death' prior to the tournament kick-off.
16-year-old Lamine Yamal has shone alongside club teammate Pedri in midfield, while the aforementioned Rodri has predictably dominated in the centre of the park. Striker Alvaro Morata also opened his account in the 3-0 victory over Croatia on matchday one and will hope to add more as Spain hunt down a third European Championship title.
Georgia, meanwhile, defied all the odds to emerge from Group F as one of the four-best third-ranked sides. Their 2-0 win over Portugal last time out stands as one of the greatest upsets in the history of the competition and left them with four points to their name following a 1-1 draw against the Czech Republic on matchday two.
While Sagnol and co have already made history in their homeland, we expect the dream run to come to an end here due to the added quality of the Spanish. Georgia have already proved they should not be underestimated, though, and so we back them to give their fans another moment to cheer about by getting on the scoresheet.
