Relegation-threatened Huddersfield Town travel to midtable Cardiff City on Wednesday evening desperately in search of a win.

The Yorkshire side find themselves outside the relegation zone on goal difference heading into the match at the Cardiff City Stadium.

How to Watch Cardiff City vs Huddersfield Town in the UK:

UK viewers can watch the match live on the Sky Sports Red Button at 7:45pm on Wednesday.

Recent Form:

Cardiff head into the game on the back of a 1-0 away victory over Bristol City on Saturday. Perry Ng's 66th minute goal was enough to secure the Bluebirds' second league victory in a row and sees the Welsh side sitting in 11th position with 35 games played. Erol Bulut's side are also unbeaten in their last two home matches after a 2-1 win over Stoke City and a 0-0 draw with Blackburn Rovers.

Huddersfield meanwhile are in desperate need of the points as they sit dangerously close to the dreaded drop zone. Only above 22nd-placed Stoke on goal difference, the Terriers survived a Jonathan Hogg red card to earn a point in a 1-1 home draw versus Yorkshire rivals Leeds United on Saturday.

The result means Huddersfield are unbeaten in three of their last four league matches in a run in form which will need to continue if they are to continue playing Championship football next season.

Team News:

Cardiff midfielders Callum O'Dowda and Manolis Siopis are both ruled out, while forward Callum Robinson also will not feature. It is not clear whether goalkeeper Jak Alnwick will feature after suffering a knock, while centre-back Mark McGuinness misses out with a hamstring injury.

Huddersfield striker Kian Harratt's suspension continues following being found guilty of breaching FA Betting Rules in February. Defensive midfielder Hogg also misses through suspension following his red card against Leeds last weekend, while Rhys Healey (forward) and John Ruffels (left-back) are also out with groin injuries.

Betting Odds:

The home side enter as favourites, with UniBET offering a Cardiff victory at 29/10 (an implied probability of 40.82%). Huddersfield are in dire need of a win and come in at 21/10 with Ladbrokes, carrying an implied probability of 32.26%.

Bet365 offer the draw at 9/4, with an implied probability of 30.77%.

Prediction:

OddsNow expect Cardiff to cast further doubt over Huddersfield's survival prospects with a narrow home victory in the Welsh capital on Wednesday.
