Bournemouth welcome Manchester United to the Vitality Stadium on Saturday in the Premier League.
The Cherries secured a 3-0 at Old Trafford in the reverse fixture earlier in the season. Kick-off is set for 5:30pm UK time.
Bournemouth’s have won three of their last five home games, with the most recent ending in a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace.
The Cherries' home form has slightly bettered their form on the road so farm, averaging 1.43 points per home game (W6, D5, L5) compared to only 1.2 points in away fixtures. Bournemouth have however seen a negative goal difference of -3 in their home games after scoring 21 and conceding 24 in 16 games.
Andoni Iraola's side tend to find the back of the net when on home soil, having scored at least one in 69% of their home matches this season. An impressive 44% have seen them score two or more.
Defensively, Bournemouth have conceded an average of 1.5 goals at home so far, which is much better than the 2.07 they've shipped on the road. 44% of their home fixtures have seen them ship at least two goals, though. Only 25% have ended in clean sheets.
Having finished third the previous season, Manchester United’s aim was to kick on under manager Erik Ten Hag. However, things have not quite gone to plan.
Only two wins have came in their last five games, with the Red Devils fortunate to gain a point from their 2-2 draw with Liverpool last weekend after conceding 28 shots across the 90 minutes. They also suffered a devastating last-gasp 4-3 defeat to Chelsea in their last away fixture.
United's away form has been poor, with Ten Hag's side averaging just 1.44 points per match on the road, suffering seven defeats in the process. 1.38 goals scored is worse than the 1.53 they've averaged on home turf, and an abysmal expected goals against (xGA) tally of 1.91 has seen them ship over 90 shots in their last three outings.
United have hardly shone in recent weeks, but they always seem to do enough against teams in the bottom half of the table regardless of their performance. Bournemouth's Premier League status is all but confirmed for next season, and we're entering the point where teams with little to play for often let their focus drift.
With all this in mind, the away victory is the sensible pick for this one.
