Bayern Munich hope to rebound from disappoint midweek when they host mid-table Wolfsburg on Sunday afternoon.

The hosts have suffered back-to-back defeats in all competitions, whereas Wolfsburg have won three Bundesliga matches on the bounce. Kick-off is set for 4:30pm UK time at the Allianz Arena.

Recent Form

Bayern Munich

Thomas Tuchel's side have endured a difficult campaign and will be without a trophy for the first time since 2011-12. A last-gasp 2-1 defeat to Real Madrid saw them bow out of the Champions League semi-finals, and Munich now find themselves 15 points behind champions Bayer Leverkusen.

They looked to be building momentum in the Bundesliga with three consecutive victories before a 3-1 defeat at Stuttgart confirmed their seventh loss of the campaign. Nevertheless, only Leverkusen have bettered the 2.5 points Munich have averaged in home fixtures. Tuchel's men also stand as the highest-scorers in the division with 90 goals.

They've failed to score in just two home matches, and nine of these have seen them score at least three in front of their own fans.

Wolfsburg

The visitors are in great form, having won their last three in the league. Sitting in 12th, Ralph Hasenhüttl's side are only three points off eighth, where they finished last season. Two of their last three away matches have ended in victory, but only six sides have worse records on the road overall.

Goals have been hard to come by, with only 16 of their 40 coming in away fixtures. Their attacking woes have also been compounded by a leakier defence in away matches; 29 of their 51 have been shipped on the road, where they've managed just two clean sheets.

Prediction

Bayern have struggled for consistency in the Bundesliga, but should be backed to beat a Wolfsburg side who are meandering in mid-table. OddsNow back the hosts to do so in style as they prepare for their final home match under Tuchel.
