7/5 and 23/1 Bet Builder picks for Aston Villa vs PSG

Aston Villa take on PSG in the Champions League quarter-final second leg at Villa Park on Tuesday evening.

In what is sure to be a pulsating clash, our tipster Adam Drury (@Adam_Drury1) picks out 7/5 and 23/1 bet builders for the match.

Bet Builder selections for Aston Villa vs PSG

Youri Tielemans shots

We are taking both over 0.5 and over 1.5 Tielemans shots here across the two separate bets, as outlined below.

Most recently, the Belgian had four shots at Southampton on Saturday, meaning he has taken at least two in four of his last five Premier League games.

He has fired off at least one effort in 12 of his last 14 in the league and should have his shooting boots on when PSG come to town.

The midfielder has had a shot in four of his five home Champions League appearances this season, including against Juventus and Bologna, while he also had two away at RB Leipzig.

In a game Villa must win by at least two goals to give themselves a chance of qualification, a more front-foot performance than we saw in Paris last week gives Tielemans every chance.

Achraf Hakimi shots

Hakimi is one of the most dangerous attacking full-backs in world football and tends to be a safe bet for shots.

The Moroccan had two efforts in the first leg last week, after taking two and three across the two legs against Liverpool in the last 16, having also had at least one shot in 15 of his last 18 Ligue 1 starts.

Having had three goes at goal against Angers in his last league outing, he sits at 1.3 shots per game domestically and 2.1 in Europe.

He needs to have just one more at Villa Park to win us the 1pt bet alongside Tielemans, while 2+ are required for the longer price, both of which are perfectly achievable.

PSG to win

We will chuck an away victory into the mix for the longer price only.

Luis Enrique’s side have proved themselves to be the outstanding team, along with Barcelona, in this competition, blowing Villa away for long periods last week having also outplayed Liverpool in the last round.

They have won 17 of their last 18 games, only failing to do so in the first leg against Liverpool – a game that they had much the better of.

Villa will have to chase the two-goal deficit but that may only make life easier for their visitors, who are brutal on the counter-attack with their raft of top-class attacking players and are well rested after not playing at the weekend.
