Unbeaten heavyweights Agit Kabayel and Frank Sanchez collide having secured high-profile victories in their last outings.
The pair meet on the undercard of the long-awaited undisputed heavyweight title fight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Kabayel (24-0, 16KOs) raised eyebrows with his fourth-round stoppage win over Russia’s Arslanbek Makhmudov in December.
The German scored three knockdowns against the previously unbeaten Russian on the way to a career-best victory.
Yet to taste defeat in 24 outings, Kabayel is already a two-time European heavyweight champion and also boasts a win over former world title challenger Derek Chisora from 2017.

Meanwhile, Sanchez (24-0, 17KOs) has been quietly going about his business since entering the professional ranks in September, 2017.
A dominant unanimous decision win over Efe Ajagba made people sit up and take notice, and Cuba’s Sanchez has since followed the victory up with further wins over Christian Hammer and, most recently, Junior Fa.
Sanchez landed four knockdowns en route to a seventh-round stoppage of the New Zealander, sealing his 17th win inside the distance in the process. It was also Sanchez’s fourth consecutive stoppage victory.
A win for either guy will leave them in position for another big fight in the Middle East in the second half of 2024.
While Kabayel stunned onlookers with his demolition of Makhmudov, most were tipping Sanchez to deal with Fa and so the Cuban enters a strong favourite for this one (1/2).
Backing Sanchez to earn the nod via decision is a sensible pick. The 31-year-old will be aware of Kabayel’s power given the manner of his victory last time out, and will look to navigate his way to a comfortable points win in this one.
